| Gunnevera at 8 days old |
The racing season is here and after tomorrow's Florida's Derby we will know a bit more about the horse which stands out the crowd to me. Gunnevera is trying to be the class of the crowd after putting on some amazing shows in Florida and at Delta. I remember after seeing him winning the Delta Jackpot I said to my buddy, there is your Kentucky Derby champ for 2017. At that time it was a bit presumptuous and after watching him get beaten to Irish War Cry, I still was convinced that he could still do it. Unless Mark Casses's Classic Empire pops his head out again and claims his title being the two year old champ I will place my $2 on Gunnevera in May.
By the way he sits comfortably on the ML at 9-5
but in the Futures he has a pretty price of 6-1.
